Ms Precious Mahosho has been in the Sales and Marketing Industry for the past 10 years and Accounting and qualified Book Keeper to Trial Balance.
Experience
Precious has worked at Daily News in Zimbabwe as a Bookkeeper and was promoted to Accountant to manage the branch’s financial books. She developed a passion for sales and started studying part time sales and Marketing Management.
While working at Daily News she was a freelancer journalist (columnist) wrote short articles on current news, cooking, and short stories. At that time there was a shortage of Petrol and Diesel in Zimbabwe she started importing Diesel and Petrol into Zimbabwe through Botswana and South Africa she saw an opportunity and grabbed it with both hands and started selling on a small scale and moved commercial to a larger scale.
She relocated from Zimbabwe to South Africa in 2006 and started working at Protea Hotels (ProKard) selling loyalty membership cards telephonically and she became the best and has a lot of awards best sales consultant as she is good at closing deals negotiating. She was then Head hunted by Hotel Express International where in less than 3 months was promoted as she was the Top Sales Consultant to Renewals Manager and Expert where she would bring R2m worth of business monthly. She was at that time running her own business Clothing line and selling Brazilian Hair.
Precious decided to quit as it was not challenging anymore and decided to open her own company PROLA Consulting t/a Protravels selling loyalty travel memberships and opened another business as well sales orientated Life and Style Travels and Global Travels( which she is the only director and operational. She then decided to join forces with Peter Ayoade and register African Petroleum SA Group which is Petroleum based company with call centre based in Midrand.
She also enjoys working with the community for 4years with different NGOS as she is an Entrepreneur motivating the girl child abused women and children from broken homes Poverty, Natural Disaster, Crime, women and child Abuse, HIV/AIDS etc., She has worked with Stay Queens, Comfort Zone, Agape Gracious women just to mention a few.
She is a member of Whattif organisation that deals with issues of women where they meet discuss issues that affecting women and motivate women to stand and be strong; every festive seasons they choose organisation that deals with orphans and vulnerable to go play with them , cook for them and give them presents .
During her engagements in the mining/petroleum industry, she has engaged in social projects such as donating clothes in countries such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Swaziland and Lesotho. Open opportunities for rural &urban youth to be registered at NARYSEC. Coordinated rural children to get funding for reading glasses for school children, managed to organize 200 community members.
Precious enjoys hosting environmental workshops at townships, donating to the less privileged. Precious was invited by the office of the Premier to be motivational speaker Mentor in the programme of young women development programme in the office of the Premier.
